One of my favorite things to do is tell stories, through writing prose or making comic books.
Sewing, Graphic Design, Watercolor, Acrylic, Animation, Writing, Drawing, Digital Art.
The concepts in my art range from kawaii to controversial. Eventually, these themes overlap.
My name, The S.S.Mable , came from when I was 12 years old and randomly created a charming song about a boat. It’s also a reference to my dyslexia, which causes me to see/ sense my name in the s.s.mable.
After my grad school program, it took on a new meaning. During that time, I researched different human rights issues, centering my attention on the darker historical segments of human trials. Now, the SS, also the initials of the Nazi Schutzstaffel, represents the serious subject matter that permeates behind the innocuous appearance of my artwork.
